Deutsche und polnische Tischtraditionen
Deutsches Essen und Tischmanieren unterscheiden sich kaum vom polnischen Essen und deren Tischmanieren. Wenn man sich zu Tisch setzt, wird sich sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Polen unterhalten und es wird auch waehrend des Essens getrunken. Weitere Besonderheiten koennten z. B. die Wahl des Sitzplatzes sein, welche in beiden Faellen in den Familien meist immer gleich sind.
Auf Feste bezogen unterscheiden sich die Mahlzeiten von dem normalen Essen in der Woche. An Festtagen wird ein besonderes Menue auf besonderem Service aufgetischt, welche das Anliegen des Tages betonen sollen.

There are no big differences between German and Polish meals and table manners. If somebody sits at the table, he will, both in Germany and Poland, talk and drink if he wants to. Further characteristics can be stated, for example, as the choice of the place to sit, which in both cases is always the same for the family members.
Referring to celebrations, the meals on these special days are different from the meals of the normal weekdays. Due to the celebrations special meals are served on a special plate, which is supposed to underline the importance of this day.
